I would like to purchase both the Monarch and the Swallow Tail butterflies to raise and release. Any help here would be helpful.
I live in the suburbs of northwest of Chicago ILL.

It is too late in September to start raising those two butterflies in Chicago. Instead of buying the eggs or caterpillars of these butterflies, I would recommend trying to attract them to your garden. You can either purchase host plants from local nurseries or buy seeds and grow them yourself. You can purchase a raising monarch butterfly kit but you need to provide the host plant, milkweed, to feed the caterpillars.
